Light Note, favored hy the going, clear of interference and running to his best form, forced the pace steadily in the early stages, wore down Airship after going a half and, drawing away, won easi.i;r up. Dr. Spruill ran fairly well and was always prominent. Scalplock. under strong handling, was a forward contender throughout, bat tired slightly near the end. Airship showed the most early speed, but tired after going three ipiarters. Ilarmakis. poorly handled and reiieatedly interfered with, ran a good race. Sultry came fast in the last ouaroBr. Lady Ellison, poorly handled and appearing sore while on the way tr. the post, closed a big gap from a slow beginning. Devout ran a bad race and can do much better. Lady Jocelyn had no mishaps and can do much better. New Amsterdam ran a good race and will show improvement.
