KENTUCKY BEAUS SISTER THE STAR. H. B. Duryea Pays ,000 for the Filly by Star Shoot Kentucky Belle II. New York, .Tune 27. Thirty-three of the consignment of forty-live yearlings from the Runnymede, Dixiana and Larchmont Studs, were sold today for 4,475 an average of ,015. The Runnymede consignment of sixteen sold, led the sale with a total of 4,950, an average of ,559. Bidding was brisk on the choice lots. The top price was ,000, which II. B. Duryea paid for the sister to Kentucky Beau and half-sister to Six Shooter and Sir Gallant. William Garth was again a good liuyer, while Peter Wimmer and R. L. Thomas each bought several. Mr. Wimmer paid ,000 for the full sister to La Sorella II., now a two-year-old, iiud the first foal of Bewltcher. Mr. Garth paid .f2,S0O for the half-brother to Baleshed. J. E. Widener got the sister to Diminutive and Memories for ,500. The highest price obtained for one of the Dixiaua consignment was ,100, paid by Mr. Garth for the half-brother to Topsoll.
