Lady Vie. lucky at the start and showing good form, followed Miss Schiriiding closely to the last sixteenth, where she ran into the lead and won going away. Miss Schirndiug ran a good race, was aided by clear sailng and was easily second best. Chestnut Bell, shullled back soon after the start, came with K belated rush when clear and ran a good race. Lady Flora suffered from interference throughout aud finished last. Lady Martha closed a big gap and was goiug gamely through the stretch. Ogbent ami Nazimova were almost thrown soon after the start in a jam and had scant chance thereafter. Presents ired aftr going three furlongs. Scratched Cloyne, 103. Beatrice K.. away fast, quickly ran into a long lead and. increasing her advantage wilii every stride, won eased to a canter. Cygnet ran a good race and finished gamely after saving ground when turning into tlie stretch. Haughty, poorly ridden mid away in a tangle, tired badly after going a half and can do much better. Viperine showed speed, but ceased to be prominent after going a half. Dete Strouie, from a slow begiming, closed a big gap and. under stronger riding, would have been a sharp factor. Henry O. was well ridden and a close contender for the lirst three-quarters, then moved up gamely when called on and Helgesen outrode Taylor in the final strides. Devout, away fast, was excessively used in pacemaking in the early stages and would have won with better handling. Tsara closed a gap from a poor beginning and was going gamely at the end. Don Irent also made up ground and was gaining steadily tit the end. Lacaehe, sore from his fall of yesterday, tired after going three-quarters. Prince of I less ran a bad race and can do much better. Hallucination showed speed for a half. The winner was entered for S400; no bid. Scratched C971! Lieutenant Rice, 111. Incorrect weight in entries Prince of Pless, 10S. Cablegram, favored at the start, ran into a long lead quickly and, standing a hard drive gamely at the end, lasted just long enough, although tiring fast. Lexolinc began slowly and ran wide most of the way, but finished gamely and was wearing the winner down. Old Honesty was poorly handled and, impeded re-peatedlv in the first three-quarters and tired near the end. Redgauntlet saved ground all the way and ran fairly well. Han-bridge, showing high-class form, broke well in motion and never left the result in doubt, winning all the way with plenty in reserve. Bucket Brigade was slightly impeded soon after the start, but came gamely in the stretch when hard ridden and finished with a rush. Simon Weil had a rough trip and was forced to go wide into the stretch, but finished fast and wore down Marcus Aurelius in the closing strides. The latter was a forward contender in the early stages, but tired when hard pressed in the last sixteenth. Dunvegiln had no mishaps. L. C. Widrig showed a brief flash of speed. Reason forced the running in the early stages and took the-Iead on the stretch turn, hut tired near the end. Hyperbole closed a gap and outstayed Solly M. for third place. The latter showed much speed for the first three-quarters, but tired badly in the stretch. Harold D.. away . fast, ran a good three-quarters before tiring. Bonebrako was caught in a jam on the first turn and failed to show much speed. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00: no hid.
