Golf Ball was prominent nearly throughout, but tired slightly after a long drive. Don Enrique, well up from the start, was crowded, but going fast, at the end. Von Tromp, nearly left, made up much ground. Galiavant, nearly left, closed an immense gap. Gretna Green, palpably short, ran forwardly to the stretch, where lie tired. Killaloe was carried out on the first turn and lost a half dozen lengths, then closed a big gan into a fast going fourth and ran a grand race. Tony Faust failed to stay after strenuous pursuit of Mi-Carter for the first mile and was injudiciously ridden. Prince Hampton steadily improved his position from a llalfooled start.
