TO ENLARGE SHEEPSHEAD BAY TRACK New York, July S. Improvements on an extensive scale at Slieepshead Bay are planned by the Coney Island Jockey Club. There is to he a re-surveying of the track proper, making it a mile and a quarter in circumference instead of a mile and an eighth, as at present, in addition to remodeling and enlarging the two stands, rebuilding the clubhouse and providing special entrances for automobiles and other vehicles. The executive committee lias approved the plans, lint the whole thing awaits the sanction and approval of the owner of the property, William K. Vanderbilt, who Is now in France and not likely to return to this country until late in the fall.
