Harvey Myers, vice-president of tlie Latonia Jockey Club, returned from :Nev York yesterday. He said: "I do not think ithere will be any trouble coming to an understanding ;as to fall dates. There has been nothing done except to talk over the situation. The Latonia Jockey !Club can shake hands with itself that the meeting was not extended, in view of the excessively hot jweatber Ihat has prevailed since the gates were closed. We expect to have a splendid fall meeting, and tliis will serve the public and the horsemen .better than if we had been granted a coutinuan.ee."
