Cock Sure, away fast and clear of interference, showed the most speed and was never seriously menaced. Miss Gaiety ran well, stood a hard drive and finished gamely. Edgely bad to overcome interference and closed a big gap. Trackless tired in the last quarter. The Globe ran a good race. Venus ran a fast middle quarter. . Alencon was knocked out of any chance soon after the start. Spendthrift Helen was practically left at the post. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights The Globe, 3 pounds. Flying Plover was well ridden and, fencing cleanly, followed Manzano closely and, taking the lead when approaching the last two obstacles, outstayed Kilmorie in the final drive. Kllmorie was a game contender all the way and ran a good race. Manzano, poorly ridden, was excessmdy used :ill the way, causing him to tire near the end. Sam Parmer had no mishaps. Sand tired badly after going one turn f the field. Treuct the Mere, in poor form, fell at the water jump. Snowdrift quit badly after going ever the lirst four jumps. Jacomo trailed the others in the early stages, went wide into the stretch and finished with a rush. Nat 15. ran a good race and outstayed Polly Prim. The latter was poorly ridden, ran a fast three-quarters and quit badly in the last quarter. Halliard teased to be a prominent factor after going a half. Doubt gained steadily, finished witli a rush and took second place in the final stride. Secret ran a good race and was a game factor all the way. Cbanida closed a big gap. Neliie Burn tired after going three-quarters. Cursus ran a bad race and can do much better. Charlie Thompson quit after going six furlongs. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Petulant had a rough trip and but for going wide on the stretch turn would have been second. Dethorpe closed a big gap and will improve. Padrone suffered from interference and might have Ikcii a contender but for Burton getting kicked on the leg while at the post. C. II. Shilling ran as if short. Supine, well meant, ran well and suffered from Interference. Lady Handsel had a rough trip and. if clear from interference, would have been a sharp factor.
