CHANTS GET IN OKLAHOMA. The noted race horse Chant, which won the Kentucky Derby for II. Eugene Leigh in 1S94, is to be represented on the turf next year by the following youngsters owned by William Tilghman, of Chandler, Oklahoma: Statehood, bay colt, out of India, by Blazes; Chantlette, brown filly, out of Chavalette II., by Chevalier; Oklahoma, brown filly, out of Hat-tic Byers, by Sundial; Louise F., bay fillv, out of Mon Bijou, by The Bard. That Chant is alive and that a crop of his colts are to go to the races recalls Leighs racing Chant the same season he had out such stars as Clifford, Lazzarone, Ilaudspun. Urauiu and Ducat.
