NOTES OF THE TURF. Andy Bhtkeley and Frank Regan both deny the report that the horses in their charge will race at Yonkers. They are both going to Saratoga. Steeplechase jockey Owens, -who had Lis arm broken at Sheepshead Bay, is improving steadily, bntJio will not Ik; able to ride at Saratoga. A. Bassets brown colt, Sir Archibald, by Desmond Arc Light, which won the Chesterfield Stakes uuder the pilotage of Luclen Lyne July 18, is rivaling White Eagle and Prospector for the two-year-old honors of 1907 in England. Prospector is a bay-colt by Pioneer Kendal Belle, and is in the stable of Sir Charles Nugent. White Eagle is a chestnut colt by Galllnuk Merry Gal.
