THIRTY LEADING OWNERS. During the first sixteen of the thirty-one weeks of the New York racing season, James R. Keenes horses have won in stakes and purses the immense sum of 230,391. This is 7,GG7 more than the great Sysonby and other horses brought him during the entire season of 1905, and it goes without saying that, barring unexpected disaster to his strong stable, lie will reach and pass the 300,000 mark, a distinction and success achieved by no owner on the American turf as yet. The following is the standing of the thirty leading owners for the year, to and including the racing of August 3: Owners. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt. J. R. Keene 45 32 14 230.391 II. P.
