Taunt, clear of interference and showing- good..form, ran as if best and won all the way. Dele Stroma began with her customary slowness and closed a big gap. Nellie Racine was prominent most of the way and tired near- the end. Denigre ran fairly well. Punky, away poorly and bolting to the outer fence, closed a b:g gap and ran a winning race. Ayr Water quit badly after going a half. St. Jeanne ran a bad race and can do much better. The winner aws entered for 400; no bid. Scratched 70133 Beatrice II., 102. Crox-ton was allowed to take a long lead early and was never seriously menaced, winning in a canter. Flying Plover ran into second place after passing the water jump and always was the winners closest attendant. Sam Parmer was badly ridden and can do much better. Russell A. was restrained for almost the entire trip. Sobclls ride on Dell Leath was weird. Throw his race out. Mail Box pecked at the jumps ami was beaten off. Scratched 70303 Snowdrift, 130. Miss Mazzoni began slowly and was taken wide most of the way but. finishing with a good burst of speed, wore down Marion Moore in the closing strides. Marion Moore had no mishaps, was speedy and tired near the end. Gilvedear, away fast and saving much ground on the turns, ran well and bad no mishaps. Moliere suffered from interference and can do much better. Shirley R. quit after going a half. The others were always outpaced. The winner was entered for 400; no bid. Light Note put up a good performance, hut was not good enough. Matabon broke slowly from an outside position, went wide on the first turn and raced into a contending position, but tired iu the final drive. Reveille had no mishaps. Peter Knight quit after going a half. Factotum ran poorly. Ilarmakis was badly outpaced all the way and can do much better. The winner was entered for 400; no hid. New Year, running iu suddenly improved form and the best race of his career, forced a fast pace from the start and, taking the lead on the stretch turn, held the others safe in the final drive. Jigger went well throughout and was a lucky second. Maiimbo suffered from much interference, was probably best and finished witli a rush through the stretch. Venus was speedy, but tired in the last sixteenth. Merlingo began slowly and failed to show much speed until in the last quarter, where he came fast. Comic Opera ran poorly under timid guidance. Listerine closed a big gap from a slow beginning. Tomnahat ran poorly under weak riding. Bergoo quit after showing line speed for a half. Itoly Poly showed speed, but tired fast in the last quarter. Don Fonso and Ericula ran well for a half and quit. Jack Kercheville was badly ridden. The winner was entered for 300; no hid.
