RACING GOSSIP FROM LATONIA. Cincinnati. O., September 24. Matt J. Winn was here yesterday and left last- night for New York for a conference with Louis A.. Cella and S. F. Heaslip relative to further appointment of New Orleans officials. Jockey T. Taylor made application for a rehearing of bis case, and the judges will grant him an audience next Wednesday. Jockey Goedikc was suspended by tbc starter for three days for misbehavior at the post. Jockey W. Ott was given two days, for tbc same offense. Steeplechase jockey McCluro arrived today from Oklahoma and is seeking reinstatement. St. Volmu, which was Injured In his- last slart at Saratoga, is again getting well and will be started at this meeting.. Alex Labold stated today that Chuliia would be kept in the east and raced there UntH the close of the season. J. B. Respess announced that all uls horses except the yearlings sired by pick WellesTare for sale. He intends racing the youngsters next sea son on the New York tracks. Rexall, while being exercised Jforiday morning, fell and was injured.
