Coon, running to his best form and favored at the start, maintained a good lead for the first three furlongs, but tired slightly and had to be hard ridden to last long enough. Mark Time came with a rush through the stretch and finished gaining on the winner. My Queen of tiie Roses was prominent for thr first half and tired near the end. Field Lark had no mishaps and tired badly in the .stretch. Sister Polly was In close quarters most of the way and is regaining good form. Captain Fearson, from a good start, kept well up with the loaders to the stretch and quit. Malta ran a poor race and can do much bolter. The winner was entered for S500; no bid. Mystifier, a slow beginner, had to bo hard rldsen tluoughout to maintain a forward position, but stood a hard drive resolutely through the stretch and Wore Stoneman down in the last few strides. Stoneman, running in improved form, forced and set a stiff pace in the early stages and wore Enlist down aft?r going a half, but tired slightly in the stretch. Canada ran a good race and was going fast in the last furlong. Enlist showed much early speed, but was excessively used in Hie first half and tired in the stretch drive. Tim Kelly ran fairly well and is showing Improvement. Pointer went wide most of the way. Ordono is an awkward gaited colt that will not run when subjected to the least bit of interference. Rcnsonhurst, always clear of interference and showing the most speed, took a slighti lead from the start and, standing the final drive gamely, just lasted long enough to beat out Airship. The latter ran a good race atid, under a hard drive, finished gaining steadily. Refined, in close quarters early, paved ground by a close turn into the stretch and was gaining fast at the end. Javanese had to overcome much Interference and was going faster than the lenders at the end. Nollette. was prominent throughout and ran in Improved form. Elancer tired In the stretch. Warner Griswell came from a long way back in the last half ant! suffered from interference on the first turn. Rio Grande was prominent most of the way and pulled up at the finish bleeding slightly. Miss Sain a smart filly, ran under restraint for the first half, then moved by Colloquy when called on and was never seriouslv menaced in the final furlong. Frontenac, outpaced for the first quarter, came fast in the stretch and was best of the others today. Beatrice K., under poor riding, was kept far back to the Etretch, where she closed up resolntelv and was gaining fast at the end. Colloquy showed her usual brilliant speed in the earlv stages and tired under her heavy impost in the stretch, but ran a good race for a first out in a long time and will improve. Cutter, showing line form after a long let-up, forced the early pace at a fast clip, but lack of condition told near the end and she will improve. Toboggan, showing suddenly improved form, ran a good race and was right there at the end. Heine was best of the others and had no mishaps. Lightning Conductor was jammed back toon after the start and can do much better. The winner was entered for 000; no bid. Tyrol ran a sparkling Vace, was repeatedly interfered with and. with clear sailing, could not have lost. Catherine F. was also interfered with on several occasions. Aanen tired after having forced the pace for three-quarters. Uncle Tim suffered from interference. Sweetener quit in the hist half. There was much crowding all the way.
