Royal Legend was a game contender to the stretch turn, when she lost ground by going wide, but closed up again under punishment and outgamed Glena MacBride. The latter niaile a game effort after entering the homestretch, but tired in the final drive. Florentine ran well. Little George tired. The winner was entered for 500; no bid. The latter broke slowly and was forced to go wide on the far turn and when entering the homestretch, then came on fast under punishment. Lexington Lady finished with a great burst of speed. Fantastic set a fast early pace, but failed to stay the route. Solon Shingle tired in the final drive and ran below his true form. Reside ran well. . The latter ran well, but lost the race by being carried -wide by Miss Cesarion when entering the homestretch. The Belle finished gamely under punishment and was on the outside of the leaders for the entire trip. Fiats race was too bad to be true. Miss Cesarion showed early speed, but failed to stay. Rye Bye II. was outrun in the early stages, but wore the others down on the far turn, caught AVabash Queen tiring in the stretch and won going away. Wabash Queen was a forward contender all the way, but tired from racing Toddle into, defeat. Charles L. Stone, outrun for the first half, closed a big gap and finished with a great burst of speed. Docile, off forwardly, joined the leaders on the backstretch, went to the front on the far turn, but was tiring in the last furlong and had to be hard ridden to stall off Harmakis. The latter met with serious interference on the first turn and was forced to go to the outside, then came on fast and outgamed R?-l.-ounder in the final drive. Rebounder lost ground on the far turn by being taken to the outside. King of the Valley quit in the last quarter-and can do better. Chanida ran poorly. Perfector was repeatedly cut oil. The winner was entered for 500; no bid. Scratched 71255 Jungle Imp, 113. Overweights Perfector, 5 pounds.
