E. C. SMITH MAY GO TO ARCADIA. New York, October 15. E. C. Smith, turf editor of the New York Telegraph, is a caudidate for the post of racing secretnry of the Santa Anita track or the Los Angeles Racing Association. It was thought that John Boden, secretary of Brighton Bench, would be appointed, but so far he has not been.
