IRONSIDES TO BE A STEEPLECHASER. Ironsides and Perseverance, bought at he Whitney sale in the paddock at Belmont Park Saturday, by J. AV. Colt and Paul J. Rainey, respectively, will be both put to steeplechasing next year, ironsides will probably be seen under the colors of his new owner at Bennlng in the Washington Cup, Bennlug Special and ;the Maximum. Whether Gartli will try for some of these races with the brother of Brookdale Nymph and Chilton, Mr. Rainey Jias not yet decided.
