PIMLICO READY FOR RACING. Baltimore, Md., October 23. Secretary Biggs is having lift additional stalls built inside the track inclosure at Pimllco, which, together wltli the present stables and those to ue had at the trotting track near by, will accommodate the 500 horses which will be here for the meeting next Saturday. A number of stables have already arrived and others are getting in every day. Quite a number arc at Benning, where the horses have been in training, and will come here Friday. Superintendent Brennuh has had part of the track rcgraded and has the course in splendid condition. He has given especial attention -to the drainage and it will dry quickly after a rain. The steeplechase field is in better condition than at any previous time. The betting inclosure has been inclosed with glass and will afford ample protection from the elements should bad weather set in during the course of the meeting. The officials of the meeting will be practically the same as have been iu charge at previous meetings. Judge Frank T. Bryan will be in the "stand and A. B. Dade will do the starting. John Boden will be racing secretary, and H. J. Morris, H. Carroll Brown and Samuel Boss will act as stewards.
