PLEASE PROVES A HIGH-CLASS FILLY. Defeats a Good Lot of Two-Year-Olds at Latonia Itacatiara Wins Again. Cincinnati, O., October 23. Todays offering in a racing way did not leave niuclr to enthuse over. Six races made up the card and in most instances one of the starters appeared to outclass his opponents by so wide a margin as to make the result almost a foregone conclusion. Speculation on the third and sixth races was made mostly on horses for second and third places, as llazelthorpc and Beau Brummel, the winners, were held at such -short prices as to make it dillicult for any but the big bettors to lay a wager. The steeplechase over the short course was won by Itacatiara, which repeated his ginxl showing of his last start. Class Leaders jockey.
