TRANSPORTATION TO ARCADIA. The Pacific Electric Railway Company of Los Angeles, has begun work 011 an extension of their San Gabriel line to Arcadia Park. The present line ends at East San Gabriel, near the Countrv Club, four jniles from the track. Monrovia line running between Los Angeles and Pasadena will also build a spur to the track, having Its terminal about 100 feet back of the grandstand. Cars will run on this line every afternoon at -frequent intervals, which will not only afford a choice of trolley routes, but will relieve the possible congestion of tralfic on the San Gabriel road. The Southern Pacific, which runs past tlie track, has built a switching yard opposite the stables for the unloading of freight and horse cars. This company will also put ou a schedule of race trains for passenger service during the meeting.
