SMITHS BAND OF JUMPERS. New 1ork, December 11. Courtland II. Smith is wintering his five steeplechasers at Belmont Park. They are Sandy Creeker, Navajo, Locked Out. Meddlesome Boy and Jim McGill, a three-year-old bay colt by Handsome Marianme, which has only appeared under colors once, in a steeplechase during the recent meeting of the "Washington Jockey Club, in which befell. Mr. Smith has -Pete Dailey and My Grace at Warrenton, Va., where they are qualifying as hunters and probably will not be raced over the fences again under colors.
