MAGNATES IN SECRET CONFERENCE. A secret conference between Louis A. Cella. Joseph L. Rhlnock and Jerome Respess. together with Judge L. H. Bond of St. Louis, took place at Cincinnati Thursday and despite the fact that the purpose of the meeting was not disclosed, it is more than probable that Important developments may follow. One Cincinnati report had it that Rliinock was about to sell bis City Park and Louisville Holdings to Cella. This may or may not be true. At any rate, such men of prominence in tui;f matters do not travel long distances to meet for social discourse. One transaction reported was to the effect that Cella Had taken from Rome Respess His Essex Park, Hot Springs, bonds. Congressman Joseph L. Rhlnock of Kentucky, a steward of the American Turf Association, and large holder of stock in racing plants conducted under the rules of that organization, arrived In Chicago, yesterday morning from Cincinnati on a busiuess trip. Mr. Rhlnock came here suffering with a severe cold, and, consulting a physician, learned He was liable to an attack of la grippe and was ordered to remain in His rooms,at the Auditorium Annex. Mr. Rhlnock said He was in Chicago on matters of pri vate business and did not know, any thins new concerning matters of tie turf,
