TANFORAN TRACK REOPENED. San Francisco. January 1.— The officials of the Pacific Coast Jockey Club have met the well founded complaints about the difficulty of properly fitting horses during the had weather, and have put the Tanforan track in first-class shape for the accomodation of horsemen who may wish to take advantage of it in getting their horses ready for their engagements. Training is possible at all times at Tanforan, regardless of weather conditions, as the sandy main track never becomes bad. and in addition there is a sod training track. There Is plenty of good stabling in and around the Tanforan track and owners are much pleased with the arrangement.
