Irfaneb broke fast from the outside and. clear of interference, showed superior speed under a hustling ride and N in same fashion. Holy Mass was in closest pursuit all the way and ran a good race. Arionette ran frreen, but held her position well all the way. will improve and has worked fast. Anne McGee will also iieprovc iind ran gamely. Alice, away iu a tangle, showed speed and swerved slightly in the stretch. The others acted green at the po t and were away straggling. Al Muller ran into a long lead quickly, raced Hollow into defeat in t.te first half, then had to stand a hard Kticteh drive to outstay Blue Lee. but finally won going away. The latter ran well, gained gradually- and finished gamely, but tiring. Evelyn S.. away slowly ami in a tangle, went wide most of the trip and closed a big gap. Hollow ran a fast half and tired. Bucking Boy ran a gixwi race tinder poor riding. N "dmore ran a bad race and can do much lietter. Orly, in close quarters for the first three-quarters, came with a rush when clear and finished wearing the winner down. Lancastrian fcrced the early pace, but tired in the drive through the stretch. Bright Boy, a bad actor at the post, ran a good rae:e for tljree-quarters and tired. Granada had no mishaps. Okenite ran a bad race, was never prominent and can do better. Harting was crowded and knocked to his knees soon after the start, causing him to lose his rider. The winner was entered for ,200; no bid. Chapnl-teptc interfered sharply with Dew of Dawn and Woodiane soon after the start and, dashing into a long lead, was under restraint through the last half. St. Ilario, hard ridden, ran fairly close up for a half and hen, "moving up fast, wore down Woodiane and Dew of Dawn and was an easy second. Woodiane ran forwardly for the first three-quarters, but tired in the stretch. Dew of Dawn suffered from interference in the early stages and made a good effort for three-quarters. Banridge, under poor riding, was frequently buffeted about. Jennies Beau came from a long way back in the last quarter and ran like a stayer. Ed Kane lacked early speed and was hard ridden all the way. Scratched— 724013Miss Delaney, 107: 72475 Miss Mazzoni, 105. Cooney K. ran forwardly all the way and lost ground by turning wide into the stretch, but finished fast and gamely and wearing the winner down. Hanbridge ran a good race and was prominent throughout. Charlie Eastman ran a bad race and can do much better. Don Hamilton ran a good half and retired. Dr. McCluer is out of place in sprints and best in mud. Terns Rod had to overcome much interference and ran a good race. Goldway closed a big gap in the last half. Pride-of Woodstock had scant chance with the interference he encountered.
