St. Bede, reserved for the first half, moved up suddenly into the lead on the far turn, hat went wide in the stretch and swerved into defeat finally oil the inside. Colonel Warwick, away slowlv. loomed up menacingly on the stretch turn, but failed unexpectedly in the stretch under a peas ride. Cen-Hihution, well up throughout, was inadequately riddeu. Lord Filigrane can do better and was given a peer ride. Yank showed superior speed for six furlongs. Warden Yell ran close up for six furlongs, bat tired badly at Tnc end. Sea Air was outpaced throughout and never dangerous. Vronsky showed superior early speed. hot failed to stay.
