MADDEN MAY RACE HIS HORSES ABROAD. New YY.rk. January 111 . — -It is reported in turf circles here that John E. Madden, who is now in Kngland with his two sons, is contemplating the shipment of a number of horses to Kngland next spring for racing there and in France next season. He is a nominator to many of the English and French stakes of Ibis and is reported to have already made arrangements for training quarters in both countries for the summer. When Mr. Madden went abroad several weeks ago it was said that hi inteuded to purchase a number of Knglish broodmares for his stud at Hamburg Place and the latest announcement of his plans has created considerable surprise among turfmen here.
