Water Cooler was a distant trailer for the first half, then closed a big gap and finished gamely. Tim Kelly, away fast, showed the most early speed, tun tired in the stretch and barely lasted long enough to save third place. Jennies Beau began slowly mid only ran fairly well. Busy Boy, going wide most of the way. was close up at the end. Heap Talk interfered sharply with several others in an early display of speed and quit in the last quarter. Lad of Langden had slight opposition for second place through the stretch, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Tokalon. given an easy ride, was allowed to drop far back in the first quarter, but moved up steadily through the stretch and would probably have won with a strong rider. Miss Strome, away in a tangle, saved ground most of the way, but failed to respond to punishment in the final drive. Mr. leabody ran fairly well. Jersey Lady had no mishaps and can do much better. Escutcheon had scant chance with his poor rider. Beau Bruinmel can do much better. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
