INFLEXIBLE DIES AT BLUE RIDGE Inflexible the Hamburg Berrledale stallion Mr Oxnard bought in the spring of 1904 from the estate of the late AVllliam C Whitney and stood one season at his Blue Ridge Stud in Virginia and two t William OBrien Macdonoughs Ormondale Stud in California is dead He succumbed to colic at Blue Ridge Farm last week and Mr Oxnard lias sustained a great loss lossInflexible Inflexible was from a Donovan mare imported to this country by the late Marcus Daly Mr Macdonough let Mr Oxnard have the Ormonde stallion Ormondale winner of the Futurity of 1005 in exchange for Inflexible The horse wai brought back from California a short time ago and he contracted the colic which carried him off shortly after VirginiaMr his arrival In Virginia Mr Oxnard will of course miss Inflexible which has several winners out this season but hisplace la well stocked with fine stallions He owns the ster ¬ ling English horse Islington the Lawrence Realiza ¬ tion winner Prince of Melbourne Golden Maxim one of the greatest threeyearolds of 1903 and Hawkswick a fast son of St Simon
