feV CHINNS BIG STRING FOR CALIFORNIA. Lexington. Ky.. October 21. Before the end of this week Phil T. Chinn expects to ship thirty-four horses from Harrodsburg to California. He has been delayed through the non-arrival of one of two cars ; he wjll use. "I have ten horses already on the coast." said Chinn today, "and this shipment will give me forty-four head. The San Francisco division of the stable will be in charge of W. II. Spenee and jockey Upton 1 will rifle. I will train the division that will race at Santa Anita and jockey Treubel and B. Wood, an apprentice boy. will do the Tiding there. The yearlings will he quartered at Ascot Park and will 1 be in charge of Luther Dickcrson."
