Dr. Harkley, under a hustling ride, showed much speed and had the race won from the start, finishing easing up. Duomo was close up throughout aud stayed well in the closing drive. Desperado stood the final drive gamely and was going fast at the end. Colonel Blue was away poorly, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Christmas, away forwardly, followed lcaria closely for a half and, standing the final drive gamely, drew out in the closing strides. lcaria, lucky all the way, showed the most speed, but tired slightly near the end. Miss Crittenden, forced to go wide most of the way aud poorly ridden, closed a big gap and was gaining at the end and ran a good race. Zarape tired after going a good half. Kloreal was shutlled back soon after the start, then closed a big gap and is a stayer. She AVolf tired in the stretch. Hawkslight showed a brief Hash of speed.
