Desperado stood the final drive gamely and was going fast at the end. Colonel Blue was away poorly, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Miss Crittenden, forced to go wide most of the way aud poorly ridden, closed a big gap and was gaining at the end and ran a good race. Zarape tired after going a good half. Kloreal was shutlled back soon after the start, then closed a big gap and is a stayer. She AVolf tired in the stretch. Hawkslight showed a brief Hash of speed.
