Dispute, after running forwardly from the start, came with a rush in the last furlong and, getting up in the last seventy yards, was drawing out at the end. Arionette showed tlie most speed for a half, but tired fast in the last furlong. Dr. Ilolzherg, taken wide most of the way, came fast in the stretch, but ran below bis best form. Mique OBrien was prominent all tlie way. Claiborne was in close quarters for three furlongs and ran fairly well. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 77722 Zeola, 90. Green showed superior early speed, but tired iu tlie stretch and tried to bore out in tlie last furlong. Gliding Belle ran a good race and was close up for a half. Irrigator ran poorly and can do much better. Ornaniosa made up ground lu the last quarter. Adder was outclassed here. Martins was welt up throughout and outstayed Nat B. at the end. The latter ran well and finished gamely. Stoner Hill showed the most speed for three-quarters, but tired fast in the stretch.
