NOTES OF THE TURF. The. fourth race last Saturday at Dallas. Tex., was the Futurity, a stake race for Texas-bred two-year-olds, to Which the Fair Association added ,000. and was worth ,300 to the winner, which proved to be F. T. Woods Sensible. The Dallas Brewing Association also gave a silver cup to the winner. There Is a full-brother to Maskette in the Keene barn at Sheepshead Bay. which, it is said, is tho fastest yearling quartered at that track. This toother of Maskette is a hay colt of good size and only recently worked three-eighths of a mile In thirty-five and one-half seconds over the yearling trial track. Enoch Wishard is a busy man with A. B. Snreek-elsbig string. All of the yearlings in Wishards stable came from Napa Stock Farm high in tlesh. and getting them into condition for racing entails a greater amount of work than would be required Ivad the youngsters been nurtured with less care. There are several promising lookers in the hand. .T. E. iMadden from all accounts is arranging to take over the old Joyner stahle at ShcoDshead Bay. This is one of the largest stables at- the track, having thirty stalls, and bemg all inelosed-iand convenient is one of the most desirable places. at the- Bay.
