Crystal Maid ran a good race and stood the final drive gamely, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Alice gained steadily in the stretch and was going fast at the end. Snake Mary was always prominent and held on well in the closing drive. Miss Felix showed the most early speed, but quit badly after going a half. Hasty came from a long way back in the stretch and ran a good race under -poor riding. Camille M. was taken wide all the way and can do better. Tackle showed brief speed.
