Coweu. away badly, pulling up and generally messed about, made up much ground. Fops set a fast pace for five furlongs and tired badly. Hampton Beauty was well up all the way and is promising. Legatee, nearly left, trailed for six furlongs and finished fast. Keep Moving was never dangerous. Desirous ran forwardly for six furlongs and retired. Downpatrick is unfit. Forerunner, very sore, ran forwardly throughout and was a game third. Mabel Hollander, after early prominence, was shufiled back at the half and closed up rapidly at the end. Fredonla was pulling up on the first turn and nearly fell, was badly messed about for the remainder Of the journey, but finished Close up and going like a cyclone. Etapa closed a big gap, as did Little Minister. Miss Bootless showed early speed and was crowded out. Be Brief set the pace to the stretcli and-retlred. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
