Ramble fired in the last quarter, where the going was heavy. Eustacian broke with the leaders, but was crowded back to last place. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. The latter began slowly and was crowded back at tin? start, then made a game effort at the furlong post, but tired at the end. Sally Preston quit when she struck the heavy going in the homestretch.
