SUPPORT FOR PROPOSED OGDEN MEETING. Los Angeles. Cal.. April 13.— Manager Finn said Inst night that the spring meeting at Salt Lake City WiH not depend entirely upon local support lie-cause the tourists and visitors at the Seattle exposition, going and coining, had been granted a ten-day stop-over privilege in Salt Lake City and that these visitors would materially increase the daily attendance throughout the season. Salt Lake City lias a population of 135.000 persons and is amply large enough to support the meeting, but this added support from the tourists will materially help things along. Twentj three prominent stables at Santa Anita have apfctted for stable room at the Salt Lake City track and have been leooked for reservations amounting to nearly MB horses. Stable room will lie at a premium very shortly if applications continue to roll in as they have bees, doing the last week. Unite a large delegation from Emeryville will ship to Salt Lake City for the nie-e lii.g and already it looks like there would he not less than two or three horses for every stall.
