NOTES OF THE TURF. The cable rumor about Colins condition being less than aalaifaClaiJ was evidently out of line, as tin American champion is taking daily work at Beck-hampton. Eng.. and is said to be in fine fettle. Colonel Hall Walker, the Irish turfman, litis had the misfortune to Mae a half brother to Minora. Mother S.cgci. dan; of tli. latter. foaled a fine colt to Count Schoml erg on the same dav that the kings colt triumphed in the Two Thousand Guineas, but the youngster died three days later. The London Siiortsman says: "An epidemic of coughing has broken out in W. K. Vanderbilts stable a 1 Ioissy. which, although not thought to be serious, has interfered wMh the work of Oversight.
