Lou Lanier ran a good race and just lasted long enough to save third place. Marline H. closed a big gap in the middle quarter, but tired near the end. Cambronne made a promising debut. Seed was prominent for three-quarters and will do better under stronger riding. Aspirin was n close quar-btl for the first half, but ran poorly. St. Deiniol ran in closest pursuit for three furlongs and tired. Barleylliorpe. considered a craekerjack. ran prominently tor three furlongs before tiring as if abort.
