Arondack worked her way up on the outside and covered more ground than any horse in the race, got ou almost even terms with the winner at the furlong post, but tired in the final strides. High Private, crowded back on the turn into the homestretch, closed up again at the end. There was much bumping at the start. High Piivate being the principal sufferer. Adeline Bourne finished fast.
