ONTARIO JOCKEY CLUB BUYS LAND. Toronto, Out.. July G. The Ontario Jockey Club has purchased 100 acres of land between Scarboro Junction and Kingston road from John Heal for 5,000. The newly acquired land adjoins on the east the 120 acres purchased by the Ontario Jockey Club a few years ago. It isi seven miles from the Woodbine race course. W. P. Eraser, secretary of the Ontario Jockey Club, said it was not the present intention of the club to -vacate Woodbine, which is owned by the club. HowcTer. he said he Avas unable to tell what the future might bring forth.
