HIGH PRIVATE NOW DOING WELL. New York, Julv G. High Private, the winner of last winters California Derby at Oakland, will not race until the Saratoga meeting. High Private was so sore after the Brooklyn Handicap, in which he ran disappointingly, that F. A. Forsythe. his breeder and owner, blistered him and ordered trainer Colston to rest him a bit. This treatment seems to have benefited High Private. The Oddfellow gelding Is doing nicelv at Itelmont Park. Colston does not an-ticiiate ditiiculty in getting him ready for the Saratoga races and predicts that he will show his class there.
