Jeanne dAre was reserved in nearest pursuit in the early running, was pocketed and surrounded at a critical inompnt on the stretch turn, but bumped her way through and drew out with a rush midway of the stretch. May Amelia, away slowly, rapidly improved her position and got up in the last stride for second place. St. Jeanne, well un throughout, though in close quarters, finished with a rdsh. Adriuche worked through tight places on the hackstretch and loomed up menacingly on the stretch turn,, biit tired slightly finally. Alanarka outbroke and outpaced the others for five furlongs and is very fast, but was overweighted and tired badly. Raquel, outpaced early, finished well. Ben Loyal, after being reserved in nearest pursuit, challenged midway of the stretch and led for a sixteenth aud seemed a sure winner but, under a weak finish, succumbed in the last stride. Pretend, away well, but badly outpaced in the early running, closed a big gap at the end and is a stayer and mudlark. Hildas Sister ran forwardly throughout but., under a weak finish, lost third place. Starport was outpaced throughout. Intrinsic, away very badly, closed an tarlv gap, but failed to stay.
