TERRAZAS DEAL NOT YET COMPLETED New York March 1C Max Hirsch who recently returned from Juarez with Charlie Hargrave Re spousful and Niagara received two recruits to his stable at Sheepshead Bay yesterday They are two yearolds by Russell and Boanerges the property ot F B Lemaire of Brooklyn Mr Lemaire pur ¬ chased these youngsters last fall from Green B Morris and instead of sending them to Florida or Juarez to race all winter they were wintered at Edward J Hogans Westbury Stock Farm FarmMr Mr Hirsch has resold to R T Wilson Jr the filly Responsful with which he won races at Juarez Since Charlie Ilargraves return from Juarez Hlrscli has painted his knees with iodine and the colt is laid up for a spell A pnfliness at the knees which made the colt a trifle sore is all that ever ailed him As soon as the colt recovers from the effects of the painting his knees have received he will be put in training and Mr Hirsch is confident that he will train HandicapsHirsch for the Carter and Metropolitan Handicaps Hirsch did not before leaving Juarez conclude his arrangements with Alberto Terrazas to take up the big stable that Mexican millionaire has planned to campaign on eastern tracks Mr Terrazas had to go home to Chihuahua on business before the wlndup of the Juarez meeting and he did not com ¬ plete his deal for the twelve best of A B Spreckels Napa twoyearoldsHirsch Stock Farm twoyearolds Hirsch is of the opinion that Mr Terfazas will take them Mr Terrazas is expected from Mexico in the course of a week or ten days
