ALFRED NOBLES TENDONS TROUBLESOME New York March 1C Alfred Noble the Garry Hermann horse purchased by James E Gaffney for K KW last year is reported to be suffering from troublesome tendons and may not be able to stand training for many months This horse regarded as a craekerjack before Mr Gaffney bought him from C L Harrison has been somewhat of a disappoint ¬ ment and appears to be under the hoodoo that has followed the Gaffney stable persistently since Julia Powel was killed at Gravesend last spring Bar levthorpe for which Mr Gaffney paid 15000 was discovered to be touched in the wind but may re ovcr Louise S a 7000 filly that was badly cut tlowii last fall is going along nicely under trainer Veirs direction Mr Gaffnoy by the way is not n bit discouraged and says he intends to huy some more horses before summer
