SARATOGA MEETING MAY BE EXTENDED. New York. July 1. H is rumored today that Saratoga araj take over the fall dates of the Coney Island Jockey Clob and continue ike meeting at the Springs into September. These dates are August 29 to September 10. which with dates already allotted Saratoga would make a meeting of thirty mx days of eontlnaous racing. This is suggested for he reason that the fear is expressed that the Coney Island Jockey Club may not care to conduct ■ me eting when the laws recently passed go Into effect September I. There was nothing officially suggested, hut it is plain that it is being urged la some quarters.
