HORSEMEN EAGER FOR CHICAGO RACING. Large Delegation Tarrying at Latonia in Hopes of Receiving Word, to Ship Here. Cincinnati, Oij July 13. — Latonia track is at present sheltering about 390 horses whose owners are undecided as to their next shipping point. Favorablo reports from Chicago regarding an early resumption 1f racing there are mostly responsible for keeping, the borae men here. Should word come during the next few days that the sport is to be resumed on the Chicago tracks in the near future, preparations will at once begin for the transfer of most of the horses now here to the Windy City. The probable revival of the apart in Chicago, together with the outcome of the Bedwell case, to be heard by the Kentucky Slate Racing Commission on Saturday next, is keeping the horsemen well supplied with topics for conversation. The general opinion among the horsemen is that the racing commission will not reverse the ruling of the Latonia judges, but may iu Bedwells case give him the privilege of disposing of his horses and lift the bail n them with their traaafer. The Bedwell string at Latonia has a valuation of 999,999: J. Markleiu shipped Dal gad a two-year-old with the Tholl-McLeinore consignment to Cheyenne, Wyo.. for racing on the inter-moaataln circuit. The horses owned by A. TagsUr were sent to tlm Empire City track at Yonkers with the W. L. Lewis consignment. John Hachineister. general manager at Latonia. left last night for Louisville and will return here iu a few days to wind up the affairs of the Latonin track before going to New York to confer with M. J. Winn and others as to plans for the Kentucky fall meetings.
