t • r THE FIRST STAKE RACE OF THE REAL EMPIRE CITY MEETING + * So far the racing at Kmpirc City has been on the dates allotted to Brighton Beach and the stake races run have been those closed by and in behalf of the Brighton Beach Racing Association and taken over by the Empire City Racing Association. Today the real meeting of the Empire City Racing Association begins, with its own Yonkers Handicap as the stake race of the day.
