1 CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE WINDSOR SELLING STAKES | I * The present program of stake races at Windsor is made up of recently founded events. It follows that the Windsor Stakes, which is to be run this afternoon, has been contested but four times. Being a selling race, it has not been fought out by high-class horses, but it afforded a capital contest last year when Old Honesty, then at his best, took up 110 pounds and defeated Wool Winder at a mile and a quarter in 2:05%, now the track record for the distance. The record of the race is as follows: Year. First. Age. Jockeys. Wt. Second. Age. Wt. Third. Age. Wt. Val. Time. 1966 R. bounder 14 W.
