WORK-OUTS OF EASTERN HORSES. New York. July 28. — Uecent work-outs of horses in training at Empire City were as follows: Empire City — Weather clear; track fast. Biola Boola — Half mile in Mf- Has been on the slow side for some time; now doing nicely. . Brandy — Seven eighths in 1:30. Looks well and works well at all times. Casern — Mile in 1:15s. Has all his speed and is up to his best form. Dalmatian —Five-eighths in 1:03. Has all his speed and is as good as ever. Dullcarc— Mile in 1:49. Was under a stiff pull tliioughout. Danger Mark —Half mile in 50. Was well in hand and could run if let down. Dundy Dixon — Half mile in 52s. Looks well and works well whenever asked. Domluus Arvi — Five-eighths in 1:02. Has all his ■peed and should race well. Ethel Day Half mile in 52. Looks lit and puts in a g*«l work at all limes. Excellence — Half mile in 55. Has a fair amount of speed and looks ready to race. Fair Miss — Tiree-cpiarters in 1:21. Has not been asked to show much speed. Fitz Herbert — Mile and a quarter in 2:07s. At his best. Gilpy — Three-eighths in 39. Has a tine burst of speed and is ready to race. Galley Slave — Half mile in 19. Looks well and works well whenever asked. Handruuning — Seven-eighths in 1:30. Has been going along slowly for some time. Henry Munro--Mile in 1:10. Shows a good burst Of speed and is ready to race at his best. Helene -Three-quarters in 1:17. Looks well and works well at all times. Indian Maid — •Seven-eighths iu 1:30. Has not been pressed to show much speed lately. J. H. Heed -Mile in 1:12. Shows all his speed and is up to his beat form. Jupiter Joe — Mile in 1:434. Has all his speed and should race well next tinie out. Little Kajah — Thrcc-uuarters in 1:17. Shows plemy of si o«*d iu all his work-outs. Mona Lisa — Half mile iu 50. Has been showing speed and is now readv to race. Moltk* — Three-quartt rs in 1:10?.. Looks well and shows some speed in all his works. May Amelia — Seven-eighths iu 1:32. Coming around nicely to her best form. Norbitf — Throe-nuarters in 1:19. Looks and works a great deal better than he has. Onager Three-quarters in 1:21. Works well at all times and holds all his spring speed. Old Boy -Seven-eighths iu 1:30. Was under a stiff pull throughout. O Em — -Five-eighths in 1:07. Has not been asked to show much speed lately.
