In races of Intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be carried. In races exclusively tor three-year-olds, or four-year-olds, the weights shall la- 120 ]M.unds, and for two-year-old*, 122 pounds. Except in handicaps and In races where the conditions expressly state to the contrary, fillies two ears old shall Im- allowed three | ounds and mares three ream old and upward shall be allowed Impounds before September 1 and three pounds thereafter. Geldings shall be allowed three pounds. Welter Weights shall be 2H pounds added to the weight for age. In heavy .handicaps the top weight shall not be less than 140 |M.unds. 1 11 all handicaps when the added money exceeds MOO, the top weight shall not be less than 120 pounds. AMERICAN TURF ASSOCIATION. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be curried. In races exclusively for two-year-olds, US pounds shall be carried. In races exclusively for three year-olds, 122 pounds shall be carried. In heat races there shall be an allowance of five pounds from the scale of weights. Except in handicaps, fillies tyvo years old and geldings of all ages shall be allowed three pounds. Fillies and mures three-years old and upward shall be allowed live pounds before Septemlier 1 and three pounds thereafter. WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB. In races of intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distance shall be carried. CANADIAN RACING ASSOCIATIONS. In races of intermediate lengths, tbe weights for the shorter distance shall be carried. Geldings allowed three pounds. In all races except in handicaps where foreign-breds are not penalized as such, horses foaled in Canada shall l e allowed up to and including three years. 7 pounds: four years ami Upward. 5 pounds. Welter weights shall t e 28 pounds added to the weight for age. In heavyweight handicaps the top weight shall not 1m- less than 140 pounds. No two year-old shall compete in an all aged race prior lo August 1. In all handicaps when the added money exceeds 1910.sh01, top weight shall not lie less than 120 pounds. STATE RACING COMMISSION OF KENTUCKY. The scale of weights adopted by the State Racing Commission of Kentucky Is identical with that of the American Turf Association, except that no weights are named for two-year-olds at any distance before August, the restriction being that no two-year-obi shall compete in any all aged race prior to August 1. The weight in races exclusively for two-year-olds is 118 |K unds. STEEPLECHASE WEIGHTS. At the eastern tracks all steeplechase races are run under the rules of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, which provides these weights: For steeplechases less than three miles — From January i p, August 31, inclusive, four years. 145 pounds; five years. 159 ix.unds: six years and over, 100 pounds. From September 1 to December 31, inclusive, for three years. 138 pounds; four years. 155 pounds: five years. 163 pounds; six years and over, ice. pounds. For steeplechases of three miles and over — From January 1 to August 31, inclusive, four years. 13S ImiuuiIs: five years. 157 pounds: six years and over. IflO pounds. From September 1 to December 31. Inclusive, for four years. 149 pounds; five years. Ml pounds: six years and over. Rili .pounds. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely ill the conditions, mares shall be allowed five pounds and geldings three pounds. No horse shall carry less than 130 itounds.
