BILLY BODEMER made a resolute effort for the lead after rounding into the srelch. bill could not quite get up. WESTBURY set the pace for a half mile and tired in the last furlong, but held on gamely. CISKO closed a big gap in the last three furlongs mid was going fastest at the end. .TAMKS MC went well and is rounding into his best form. BEN UNCAS and ALICE A. DALE ran well and finished close up.
